Pearce Construction Wins UK Housebuilder of the year (Over 35 units/yr)
At the Construction Awards of Excellence, a prestigious nationwide award scheme, Pearce Construction was named UK Housebuilder of the Year (over 35 units/yr).
The awards are organised by the National Federation of Builders (NFB) and chaired by Lord Stunell, Liberal Democrat peer and spokesman for construction in the Lords. They are run and judged entirely independently, in order to celebrate companies that set the gold standard in the construction sector.
The judges said “It was a really strong entry from Pearce who ticked all the boxes around recruitments, skills, a serious commitment to apprenticeships, customer service, quality and partnership. They pointed to the company’s ethical approach to transforming a historically significant but neglected brownfield site in Barnstaple which was the focal point of their entry. Congratulations to Pearce.”
Our entry for the awards was focused on our Taw Wharf Barnstaple development and Homes Director Nick Hopkins said “It is great to receive this Award in recognition of the hard work that has gone into delivering such high quality homes at Taw Wharf. Special thanks must go to our site management team in achieving these very high standards and the dedication of everyone involved. The project has been delivered with our Joint Venture partner Anchorwood Ltd whom we look forward to continuing our special relationship with.”
